Copywriting and editing have been my bread and butter for more than a decade, both as a career and a passion. These creative skills come together in my portfolio of print materials, digital marketing and even whole websites—instead of hiring a copywriter, web developer and designer, clients just work with me

Within five years, Ron became the Director of Operations for the company with the majority of his focus spent developing systems to automate and improve day to day operations and increasing the overall bottom line.
In 2016, with the support of this business, Ron started Turf Assistant with the vision to create a single operating platform to help golf courses and other turf related businesses automate their own day to day operations and realize the same financial outcomes that he had shown success with in his previous role.

Al Wilson started out life as a teacher and football coach. It wasn’t until the mid 80’s that he decided to go into business for himself. As with many entrepreneurial journeys the destination was somewhere he never expected.

Through the success of this company, he co-founded Turf Assistant with his son Ron. The two love working together daily to solve problems that businesses in the turf space face. Al is still active in his day to day role with Turf Assistant’s parent company and sits as head on the advisory board of Turf Assistant.

Alex Borzo
Customer Support / Project Manager
Copywriting and editing have been my bread and butter for more than a decade, both as a career and a passion. These creative skills come together in my portfolio of print materials, digital marketing and even whole websites—instead of hiring a copywriter, web developer and designer, clients just work with me. The need for vision in marketing has been enormously rewarding as I’ve stretched my wings in all-things-content. I’ve written and consulted my way across 40 different industries since starting my creative firm, and the ever-present sense for the “bigger picture” has served me well. My time at Turf Assistant has been well spent with an endless list of opportunities to learn and grow more in this space.
